It feels like it lasted at least a month but Lucca Comics & Games lasted just 5 days: they've been exhausting, but also special. We met wonderful people, we discovered new projects and loads of great fanzines.
Arturo, our magnificent robo-friend, has been photographed so many times and everybody loved him!
The Self-Area was perfectly organized in order to allow the fanzines to have high visibility, thanks to the collective performance and the free entrance to the pavilion.
Let's now get to the thanks: thanks to all the responsibles of the Self-Area that kept helping us despite the growing shadows under their eyes, to Paola and her mum that endured our lunacy, to Rita that has been our guardian angel for those long 5 days, to Paolo, Elena and Marco the "Master" our fellow exhibitors, to Manisha and her pious family that helped me in my travelling, to the wine and Arturo and our fellow fanzine-ers that hold out and stick together in this long and hard, yet beautiful, course.

Sembra passato un mese, invece il Lucca Comics and Games è durato solo 5giorni: estenuanti, ma speciali, nei quali abbiamo incontrato gente splendida, nuovi progetti e fiumi di ottime pubblicazioni autoprodotte.
Ad accompagnarci il nostro magnifico robottino Arturo che è stato fotografato e ammirato da tutti quanti. La self area era organizzata per permettere alle autoproduzioni di avere la massima visibilità, grazie alla performance e all'ingresso gratuito nel padiglione. Passiamo ai ringraziamenti: rigraziamo tutti gli addetti ai lavori della self area che, nonostante le occhiaie sempre più in vista, ci hanno sempre ascoltato e aiutato, a Paola e alla sua mamma che hanno sopportato i nostri deliri, alla Rita che ci ha fatto da angelo custode per tutti i giorni del festival, a Paolo, Elena e il "maestro" Marco compagni di stand, alla Manisha e alla sua pia famiglia che ha supportato i miei viaggi, al vino ad arturo e a tutti i nostri colleghi autoproduttori che tengono duro e si fanno forza in questo percorso difficile, ma bello.
